Hello, I’m Dr Shaharil
Orthopaedic care starts with a good conversation.
You don’t have to arrive knowing the right medical terms. Tell me what hurts, what feels difficult and what you hope to get back to. I’ll listen, explain what we find and help you understand the options.
I believe you should leave a consultation feeling clearer—not more confused.

More than symptoms
I want to understand what this is changing in your life.
Pain rarely stays in one neat corner of the day. It can affect how you walk, work, sleep, exercise and spend time with the people around you.
That is why I want to hear more than where it hurts. Understanding what you are missing—and what progress would look like to you—helps make the conversation and care plan more personal.
How I work with you
Clear, calm and with you involved.
Good care is not only about reaching a diagnosis. It is also about making sure you understand what is happening and feel comfortable asking questions.
Your story matters.
We begin with what you feel, when it started and how it is affecting your everyday movement.
No unnecessary jargon.
I explain the findings and available options in a way that is easier to follow.
You stay involved.
We discuss the practical next steps so you know what the plan is and why it may be suitable.

A few moments from the work I care about.
Surgery, teamwork and continued learning all shape the way I care for people. Here are a few snapshots from that journey.

The team around your care
Good care is always a team effort.
From assessment and treatment to recovery and rehabilitation, clear communication across the care team helps create a more reassuring experience for patients and families.

If something is stopping you from moving comfortably, let’s talk about it.
Tell me what has been happening, what you are worried about and what you would like to return to. We can start there.
